What happened to you has happened to the most vibrant and Christ-like congregations in the United States as well. A good example is Corpus Christi (now Spiritus Christi) in Rochester, New York. There are two organizations of support you should be aware of. One is the United Catholic Church, whose current Presiding Bishop is a woman. (I ordained her and made her a bishop myself.) The other is the Society of Blessed John XXIII, a society of Catholics living out a post-Vatiocan II faith within the Roman Catholic Church but ignoring its man-made rules. Feel free to contact me for more information or if there is anything I can do. We provide episcopal protection to a number of dissident communities.
