happy christmas to your community.
i met br. jim here in india the beginning of december. he introduced your parish community to me.
and on this christmas night i sit to greet you all the blessings of the new born christ.
i am told that your parish is excommunicated by rome.
but i am sure you stand your stead and vindicate your consciences.
as of old the cardinal Newman said.. d rink first to your conscience and then only to the pope.
you will be blessed.
i am a priest of the roman catholic group. aged 65. formally taken retirement and on ministries of my own.
searching the divine my way. in the end all of us have to seek god our own ways.
god bless you all. love. jose.
greetings and love on this christmas night.
i got your www from br. jim cfc. i met him last week here in india.
greetings to you all. love peace and joy.
fr. jose j. kaleekel.
Allow me to correct Father Kaleekel on a matter of fact. He was misinformed. This community wasn’t ‘excommunicated by rome’, or by anyone else for that matter, except perhaps by themselves, voluntarily. Talk of ‘excommunication’, ‘exile’ and the like only serves to perpetuate a resentful victim mentality that ignores reality. Recently in a piece on ‘exile’ the author wrote of ‘having been told to leave the official church and its building’. The reality was the exact opposite. They were invited to stay.
