Why Extinction Rebellion

By Terry Fitzpatrick

Terry will talk about a growing movement called ‘Extinction Rebellion’.

Extinction Rebellion is a socio-political movement with the stated aim of using civil disobedience and non-violent resistance to protest against climate breakdown, biodiversity loss and the risk of social and ecological collapse. Extinction Rebellion wants to rally support worldwide around a common sense of urgency to tackle climate breakdown.

The homily will focus on how we become empowered when we can take action. And take it collectively.
