Art for Activism Centred In Spirit
Renowned artist cartoonist Sean Leahy, gallery director John Fitz-Walter and one of the leaders of St Mary's in Exile, Terry Fitzpatrick will inspire you to discover a creative and prophetic expression, much needed for effective activism in our increasingly complex, challenging and changing world.
You are invited to two Saturday morning workshops to hone your creativity in an enjoyable and relaxed space. You'll create words, cartoons, images and memes for protest and social change. You'll also learn about personal resilience, grounded on your own spiritual path. Beginners welcome.
6th and 13th of August
9am – 12 midday
Land Street Gallery, 6 Land St, Toowong (near the Regatta Hotel)
Cost $85, includes both workshops. All materials and morning tea provided.
