Queensland civil society unites to face crisis
I met on a video conference with 36 Queensland Community Alliance leaders this afternoon. We all reported on what was happening in our various communities. Very enlightening. Devett Kennedy has given a very good summary on the meeting and the things we can do.

All weekend liturgies cancelled
Because of the escalating spread of the Covid19 virus the unhappy decision has been made to cancel the liturgies this weekend. This decision was made as a large number of people indicated their great concern that meeting would put people at risk. We need to play our part in restricting the spread of the virus.

10 Year Anniversary Photos
This year we celebrated 10 years since our leaving of the old St Marys Church. Ten years ago we walked from the Church with lanterns in hand and sadness in our hearts to the TLC Building. For 10 years we have proudly forged a new way of being a Faith Community bringing hope to many.

The Catholic Church after George Pell: Can it find salvation in a greater role for women?
Those calling for reform within the church say recent events have paved the way to expand the role of women in Catholicism. Some believe that includes female priests. All will be considered when bishops and other representatives from across the country meet to discuss the future of the church in 2020.
