Liturgies

This week we celebrate the second of our Advent liturgies. Our Advent theme this year seeks to return us to our roots and to re-centre ourselves at the end of a rather different year. Last week Terry spoke on Preparing the Way and this week we are looking at a familiar quote from the Old Testament prophet, Micah: Act justly, Love tenderly and walk humbly with your God. Over the next two weeks Narelle and Margaret will explore Loving Tenderly and Walking Humbly. Today, we'll reflect upon Acting Justly.

In this week's Liturgy, Narelle Mullins invites us to embrace the opportunities that the Covid 19 pandemic has given many of us to be alone. It has given us the opportunity to use moments of aloneness to come home to ourselves; to pay attention to what is within; analyse what is going on; let go of attachments and make way for ethical choices that breed compassion.
